Both are good schools. While the students characteristics in these 2 schools can be quite different. It is suggestedto (1) go to both schools during off school time and have a look on the students style (2) search videos in the website for the students performance/interview/competitons (3) search pros and cons of the school from the forum per real users.
This can certainly give u some sense on which type of students u want your child to be in the future. Also, it also depends on your family need, some family prefer local school as it has more explicit exams/evaluation of the students; while other family would prefer letting students devote more time on reading/creativity to exams/countless competitions.
After all, it’s your family and child to walk hand in hand with the school for next 6-12 years, it’s better to do more research for the best fit option.
