請問有家長可以分享一下Adelaide嘅小學嗎？

預計年底前過去，小朋友應該會讀yr4，現在擔心適應問題。聽講當地小一至小三重自理，小四開始重成績，小朋友係asd+adhd，成績麻麻，自理唔多ok，擔心佢應付唔到。睇緊以下三間學校:

Gilles Street Primary School

Goodwood  Primary School

Magill Primary School

主要係見到佢較詳細講intervention programme同有需要會轉介。
請問這些學校怎樣？或可否建議其他校風好又幫到小朋友的學校？

My son was diagnosed as ASD when he was 2 years old by Matilda Hospital Children Centre since then we planned to return to Adelaide. He then started Middle School with Mercedes College and finished Year 12 without further intervention. So I think you can consider to go to Mercedes. I am happy with the school's pastoral care and their on campus Educational Psychologist.

Just Google Mercedes college to getore info. I had previously arranged my son to started his early primary schooling with ESF Shatin Junior in HK to make sure he could transfer smoothly to English speaking Schools in Adelaide. It will a very difficult case if not impossible for schools to support an ASD student if he does not have enough English to communicate with the supportive staff. You can PM me to get more info on the local ASD support group eg. Autism SA.
