May be the mentioning of the  names of those awarded gold or silver or other awards in the year end assembly is really not a good thing. ——- Why is that?

My boys one in grade 3 one in grade 11, both of them have different math streams at their grade
And my elder son participated in several math competitions

Do you know how does HKIS send out offers and rejection letters?Is it on the same day?
Some schools just send out offers, reserve list and rejection on same day.
