FIS vs Kellett

Need help! Got FIS TKO offer in Dec and paid debenture 90K. And today got Kellett KLB offer. No one in the family speaks French, but some  French friends who will go to the same school. I would like my daughter to learn Chinese rather French.

Any advice? Worth changing to Kellett? Anyone know if the debenture is refundable or not?

You can expect FIS treats Chinese as third language

Do not bother going to FIS if you prefer Chinese over French. Chinese learning is close to non existent in FIS.

I dunno about Kellett, but if u value high on Chinese, then FIS is definitely not your choice. we let our kid take Chinese classes outside

mininmal Chinese learning but no France learning in future from Kellett.

Both offering Mandarin as a second/third language. Twice a week mandarin class in Kellett, and students are divided into 3 streams in prep school. I think school cultures, students mix, environment and quality of teachers are more important :)

for student mix, quality of teacher and school environment, i would say fis and kellett are similar, kellett being more british and fis more european style

my major factor for consideration would be the preferred destination for undergraduate study, which determines whether i should choose IB or A-Level
