Understand that the new Year 1 cohort of August 2022 will be the first group that will move as a cohort to Island School and will not be allocated by zone. Existing students will have the choice to opt out of the Island school association if they wish or to attend their school of zone based on their residential address.

我2個小朋友一個讀BHS,一個讀SJS. 2間其實差唔多，我諗大部分ESF foundation primary school 分別都唔大。都係happy school 無功課，最多都係借學校library書返屋企讀。我建議係揀近屋企果間讀。

BHS 2022 year 1 入學開始計，到year 7 入中學就一定係island school, 唔睇地址。 sibling可以跟哥哥姐姐果間唔使一定入island school, 今年入year 1 仲可以跟catchment zone 到 year 7 時揀其他中學（KGV, SC)

唔係得今年yr 6先可以照揀catchment zone，下年yr6都一定要上IS咩

我以為只括免今年yr6

Would you know whether from next year's Year 1 onwards whether exceptions can be made for this associated secondary e.g. sibling wanting to go to the same secondary rather than the new associated secondary? Thanks

ESF is committed to keeping families together. Students in BHS who have older siblings in another ESF secondary school which is out of zone or not Island school will be able to attend their sibling’s secondary school.
