HKU JS6688 2021年新開專門科研，都收好高分，位也不多20個/年。

如果係咁，去留意吓HKU/UST JS6901, JS5102, JS5103呢類理科學位，收生數量多，入去讀吓先，再選主修，有無得再進科研就要睇吓讀成點和際遇。唔會好似JS6688咁係課程編排好曬。
工程也是類似junior year大group, 之後上去再揀major。
但熱門major揀唔揀到就睇成績競爭。

我想請教一下，我個小朋友自少對太空、太空船結構、汽車及跑車結構、飛機結構有興趣，應該朝什麼方向去選大學課程比較適合? 可以分享一下嗎? 謝謝!

航太，我自己兒時夢想知少少。響香港就應該無直接有關學士學位，要去到master或以上UST和Poly U就有啲program 。有乜要求你可能直接google Aerospace Science/Engineering degree 之類。
想讀學士學位就要去外國讀，例如MIT 之類http://catalog.mit.edu/degree-charts/aerospace-engineering-course-16/
我就發完夢，希望幫到你。

我覺得睇你偏重邊面，engineering 是無錯。但如果係材料方面，Science嘅Chem, applied Chem 之類。城大有材料學學士課程JS1210。

Mechanical engineering is common for local and oversea university .In hk, hku, hkust, and hkpu offer the course. in U.k, london university, sheffield u, leeds , bristol are famous for mechanical engineering. You can check the course content of these universities and found which aspects（eg aerospace, material, car design, combustion etc ) are they focusing, and aim at those universities.
aerospace engineering etc can be found in some universities, however, they are basically mechanical engineering with one or two subjects in these degrees in final year.

间间都有 common first year, 只是个別学科独立收生，因为跟大队收生错配问题严重。

这两科科大Ok。港大中大都唔錯。

如果谂住上研究院，要睇埋三大教授的研究项目是否适合他的目标志向，不要太看重undergraduate 及综合排名！

我之前見過科大抑或理大機械工程入面有 stream 係相關飛機工程嘅，你兒子上網查一下。
