如果鍾意insurance嗰間，應該直接張佢放firm choice。理論上decline firm choice會立即跌入Clearing。不過UCAS話你可以打去問咗insurance choice肯唔肯收你，confirm咗收先decline。

因為就係未決定倒，而insurance 嗰間的requirements 係比較低，所以有啲猶豫

如果成績好過firm choice要求，可以再揀多一個。可以揀番以前insurance 咗的uni或更心儀的大學。現階段，最好問問心儀大學的admission office。
然後再決定。

After you got the results which meet the firm and insurance choices requirement, both Uni will change the status from conditional to unconditional (but some Uni will take some time). When both choices have changed to unconditional status, if you decide that you go for the insurance choice, you just need to decline the firm choice and then confirm the insurance choice.

If you want to choose Uni course outside your firm and insurance choices, you will need to decline both and go to the Clearing stage. Before that, you will need to check whether your new choice is available for Clearing, if yes, you better talk to or email to the admission officer to see if they will offer you a place.

唔好意思想請教， agent 講英國大學每間出 Conditional Offer 或 Offer 日子不同，但申請者要 confirm 大學嘅 Firm choice 及 insurance choice 次序deadline 係一樣，agent 話通常係5月，係未真係咁?

另外，想知今年 deadline 覆 Firm 及 insurance choice日子是幾號，因為我想推測明年 deadline 日期

Q - I want to go to my insurance place instead of my firm – can I swap?When you pick your firm and insurance universities, there are certain expectations behind this final decision.

It's generally expected you will be attending your firm choice, as long as you meet any conditions. This means that on results day, if you meet these conditions your insurance choice will automatically be cancelled.

If you change your mind, it's best to act quickly. Contact Ucas to change your replies if it's within 14 days.

Otherwise, things get more tricky. You’ll have to request your first university choice to agree to release you from your accepted place and get agreement from your insurance choice too, and then get in touch with Ucas to let them know what you're going to do.
