Hi everyone, I'm already in Heathrow for my 18:40 BA flight and the BA staff there has just confirmed that the collinson LAMP test will not be accepted for today's flight. (She showed us her staff email from BA to confirm this) This means you will not be allowed to board the plane unless you provide a PCR test with valid credentials (ISO etc).
We just made a last minute booking for the randox express PCR testing at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow hotel Car park for £199 (£179 for more than one person) through this link

I've called and checked they are ISO certified and seems to be the only non-24 hr PCR test available near Heathrow. However you'll have to find the own ISO certificate and print the results and the certificate yourself. If you email [email protected] the nearby marriot hotel would be able print them for free.

多謝update，咁即係話佢個「26 號開始」係計departure date 吾係arrival date. 不過我都仲未放心得住，因為我仔搭今晚BA，有個說法係話departure time如過咗香港時間26號凌晨就只接受pcr…..

BA係特別麻煩的，佢話唔接受唔畀你上機，你同佢拗都冇用

You can't blame BA. When I read yesterday English press release, my understanding is effective 26 June (Hong Kong time), only PCR test will be accepted. I will not think 26 June is the departure date from the UK.

"To ensure that Hong Kong continues to adopt stringent measures to prevent the importation of cases, the Government will tighten the nucleic acid testing requirement. From June 26, the Government will specify that the relevant test must be a polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based nucleic acid test. "

又有可能是曾經感染，自行痊癒但仍然有少量病毒

同我們昨晚預期的一樣， BA航班時間是25日18:40，但已經是香港時間26日零晨1點40分，他們的想法很stubborn

兩個都係變種,係病發左先返香港

其中兩人由英國抵港，分別是一名20歲男子，他帶有L452R變種病毒，有病徵，上星期六發病，本星期三乘搭航班KL819由英國抵港。另一名是22歲女子，同樣有病徵，上星期五發病，本星期三乘搭航班CX252由英國抵港，她在3月及5月分別在英國接種過阿斯利康疫苗。

我買左BA畀孩子8月尾返去uk開學，因為佢想同坐BA的同學同機，但如果12月可以返香港，我會叫佢坐CX, 始終疫情未穩定，BA真是幾混亂

My son contacted BA via their chat box last night and the BA person told him not to worry since the new rules start on 26 June, and he is departing 25 June so he will be fine with LAMP test results ….
