Renew 特區護照後 ，怎樣向英國 HM Office 或 UKVI 申報?

囝囝襯返咗香港放假呢段時間renew咗本特區護照， 想請教各位有冇經驗 ，我哋 應該幫佢點樣 通知英國HM 或 UKVI office 更新護照號碼呢？ 因為佢嘅tier 4 visa資料同佢手持嘅BRP都仲係未update新護照號碼。 多謝指教。

要架咩?  不是持新舊護照入境, 新舊護照一齊用咩?

I think the passport number is not displayed on the BRP.Entering the UK border should need the BRP only (and a valid passport at best).

But I believe you need to register with the police (if it is a requirement of the visa) a changed passport; and inform the school so they will keep the most updated and valid passport details.

我孩子都係剛 Renew 左, 我只是諗入境英國, 冇諗過其他文件, 求指引

我兩個仔都試過讀書其間換護照, 佢地只係過境時展示新護照, 带定個舊護照in case, BRP是英國發出，獨立的，與護照無關啊！我再把新護照影印本email給學校就是了，無做其他嘢。

孩子是讀大學還是中小學？學校應該要保全學生的most update passport copy的。交／email copy給學校就是了
Student visa 應該都會要求做 police registration (somewhere in the very original visa "letter" terms). 是要make appointment with designated police station. it's usually during fresh student enrolment period, mostly the police would come to the university for convenience. But obviously I am talking about university students.

I do not know about secondary and primary school arrangements. But checking with the school will surely clarify it.

好common ， 時常發生

新、舊護照 + BRP 一齊入境。 BRP 好緊要，如果日後唔見都要盡快補領。新、舊護照一齊入境就一定無問題。
