ISF or VSA

本人女兒就讀Victoria 幼稚園，聽到好多Victoria嘅學生唔上vsa轉isf 升小。其實VSA 最近幾年 IB 分數都高。咁 ISF 其實有咩優勢咁吸引？想請教有無Victoria 轉ISF 家長？VSA 同ISF 邊間好D？ISF 會唔會有好多功課量？Victoria 轉 ISF 會唔會好辛苦？點揀好？想請問用家意見，多了解一下。

ISF 絕對不易考。收晒pre- school嘅學生後，收入來生嘅學位其實得好少

ISF Foundation year 有mass intake, 又沒有passport 限制，Vic 生有讀開中文要考入應該機會不少

isf foundation year有大概一半係preschool上，淨番大概有100個位俾「街外人」。好多人話維幼好多人考，但考到又唔覺真係好多，我地campus今年好似有3個。維幼去isf唔難適應，foundation year教得一d都唔深。一開始都係教寫「一」「十」呢d中文字，英文寫letters，數學都係數1-20咁。維幼k1都教過哂。但再讀上去程度就應該會深過vsa 。isf一班20人， vsa好似會大班d。

其實100個位比街外已經好多，好多本身有幼稚園的IS, Y1只得十零廿個位比街外，連ESF一條龍後，搶手的幾間小學給沒有priority的街外人可能係零個位。

How do you compare VSA and ISF? Are you preferring ISF over VSA ? Thanks in advance!

Not vsa, I was referring to isf as the poster said he/she heard many victoria kids would go to isf instead of vsa. The figures shown on VEO website states that 22% of the kids go to VSA, so the chance is approximately 1/5, mind you that many of these kids have sibling priority.

For primary section yes I prefer ISF as i believe their curriculum is more structure and rigorous. Also I am a bit skeptical if my child can learn best in the IB PYP program, that is one of the reason I chose ISF who has their own curriculum in primary years.

我果年, 考唔到 ISF 既先留返係VSA, 一班2-3個考到, 考到ISF既VSA 都收, 但最後都係去ISF

其實實VSA每年都有2x 人考去ISF, 已經佔咗100位俾外來生的1/4，絕對叫多啦
VSA自己收番160人, 1/4 - 1/5 機會去VSA...
