It all depends on your kid's level.  Someone can do don't mean others can.


In order to successfully transfer to IS, good English is a must.  Also, it depends which school you plan to apply.  Some schools are more selective and competitive than others.

Yes, the mass intake year is Y7 after kinder and Y1. One new class (20+) will open up for CIS and GSIS at Y7. CIS admit mostly LS due to chinese requirement so I guess it’s probably easier for LS students to success. GSIS will admit 10+ LS students and 10+ from IS, the applicants usually fill up the whole hall for written exam.
At higher grades some students will leave to overseas so there are probably some more spots.

If to apply for Y7, when will interview happen? Need preparation two years in advance?
