The banding of LTPSS is dropping (before 2012,LTPSS is one of the Band1 aided EMI school in TaiPo) and their public examination results  are not that good as before since 2013 DSE. Also, LTPSS have very high turnover rate of the teaching staffs and their students is not well behaved since the student support works is not enough. Not suggested!

They also offered GCE but not many students will choose it. And their Students are very weak in Chinese language & Mathematics with referring to their public examination / Pre s1 datas

Most of the teaching staffs in LTPSS is lack of experience and not able to handle DSE curriculum, since most of them are fresh grad and they don’t even know how to mark the past papers with following marking scheme provided by HKEAA. And it is very hard for LTPSS to employ good teachers, cause their reputation is bad in the education industry, teachers with high ability will not apply the position from ltpss.

If you are Band2, LTPSS is a good choice for you. Their public examination results are mostly perform better than all BAND2 CMI schools in Tai Po( includes Kau Yan College). However, it’s not suitable for the Band1 students cause they should aim higher (The banding of LTP have been dropped from band1C to band2A-B) , but you should put extra consideration on their staff turnover rate.

校長不懂用人，教學方法出錯，所以埋下跌banding惡果，以前羅定邦在我年代是大埔名校，只會收全級Top20%的學生。

Report on the HKDSE Results (2019)

The results of the HKDSE Examination (2019) were promising as 68.2% of our students attained the requirement for university admission (33222) which is far higher than the Territory Average of 42.1%. The percentage that is eligible to sub-degree programmes (22222) was 96.9%. The overall subject pass rate was 98.5% while the percentage of attaining level 4+ was 45.4%.

The pass rates of 17 subjects including the 4 core subjects were all above the average in Hong Kong. The pass rates of the 4 core subjects were English Language (100%), Chinese Language (97.7%), Mathematics (98.4%) and Liberal Studies (100%). Other 11 subjects with 100% pass rates were Biology, BAFS(Accounting), BAFS(Business Management), Chinese History, Geography, History, Information and Communication Technology, Literature in English, Physics, Visual Arts and Music.

Among these, the 10 subjects with higher percentage of attaining level 4+ than those in Hong Kong were listed as below:
