Out of a cohort of 74 students, 64 applied to university through UCAS this year. Of the remaining 10, some are planning on direct employment, apprenticeships or gap years with a UCAS application starting autumn 2020 for 2021 entry.
78% of those who applied to university gained direct entry into either their firm or insurance choices. 76% of university destinations are Russell Group universities or equivalent, including one to Cambridge to study mathematics, two to medical school and one to veterinary science. All students who applied, except one, have been made an offer.
Of the six BTEC students in the Class of 2020, three have places at university and three have not applied.
