How come some have higher than 70% locals?  Aren’t they supposed to cap it at under 30%?

Just wonder, schools, like most ESF schools, have less than 70% of foreign students.  Is it ok?  Would EDB do something about it?

I also wonder! Actually when I pass by many Kowloon ESF such as KJS, most of them is Indonesian and the others are mainly Chinese. You can hardly find the foreigners with golden hair.

Just do a simple search by any of the school name when you have downloaded the report. Still have more interesting information to know inside like the increment of school fee every years, etc.

Hope it can give more insight to prospective parents.

The word “foreigner” has nothing to do with race, skin and hair color.  It merely refers to people holding a foreign passport.  Take CDNIS as an example, it has a large population of HK-based Chinese students who are Canadian citizens.

之前有新聞講過不同學校的%不一樣，近年新校多數70%外國passport

Don’t know if the old schools premise with foreign students requirement, but the new premise with such condition when award for the lease, detail can be found here,

Both ICS and ISF are not international school category, and I would consider ISF is a local school instead

ISF is private independent school, at least 70% local students
