仲有幾個方面可以考慮：
1. 外語－重唔重視？Gsis學德文。有人覺得德文ok容易，去歐洲升學有用。有人覺得好難，花咁多時間學一樣唔算popular 又難的語文，好浪費時間。Cis有third language，可以唔揀，揀咗唔鍾意亦可以 drop。

2. 心儀英國或美國大學－前者Gsis，Cis兩邊都幾好

3. 體育運動－ Gsis唔太重視

placement係客觀數據，perfect與否係主觀判斷，無所謂。

Besides languages, other things worth considered:
GSIS is “relatively” more down to earth. GSIS primary is basically half day school and I believe it’s the only half day IS available, parents can join optional ECA to make it full day and has schoolbus cover. I think they teach sports quite seriously and have strong teams in hockeys. If you consider top notched UK boarding schools, GSIS has very good track record.(not saying CIS not good). A lot of embassy families choose GSIS, generally a more westernised community. It has very strict admission policy, sometimes even kids of alumni and siblings couldn’t get in (something to consider so your second child/grandchild may not have absolute advantage). Moreover more politics recently with a lot of parties involved and many voices.
CIS has more exchanges and connections with big name Chinese companies and has mandatory boarding in Hangzhou at Y10. Kids of 騰訊, HK and Mainland tycoons will choose CIS.
Both schools are not pushy for kinder and primary and have good uni placement. For reference: US uni placement for CIS is about 50%, GSIS 30-40%, HKIS 70%. (Subject yo yearly variation).
