各位家長：

教育局於今天(2020年2月13日)宣佈，全港中小學延至不早於3月16日前復課，學校3月8日中一自行收生面試取消，直至另行通知。

另外，原訂於3月1日的家長日會取消，3月2日畢業禮改期。中六畢業禮較大機會會安排在香港中學文憑試完成後才舉行。

學校會留意疫情及教育局宣佈，適時發放相關資訊，並調整學與教策略及內容，讓學生透過網上學習。學校維持星期一至五早上十時至下午四時開放。

學生若想回校，必須由家長致電校務處，再安排回校時間及程序，保障學生安全。懇請家長叮囑子女留在家中，注意抗疫措施，家校合作，共渡時艱。

因應新型冠狀病毒感染疫情的發展，爲了保障所有中一自行分配學位申請人、家長及本校師生，本校決定取消原定於2020年3月7日（星期六）舉行的「中一自行收生面試」，甄選準則及比重現修訂如下：

(1) 成績 55%
(2) 操行 30%
(3) 課外活動、獎項及小學評語 15%

鑑於延遲復課， 教育局已宣佈學校通知正取學生家長的日期順延至2020年4月7日（星期二）。本校完成所有甄選程序後，將遵照教育局於指定日期透過書面及電話通知所有正取學生的家長，家長無須致電查詢結果。

因應本港新型冠狀病毒肺炎的疫情持續發展，教育局早前已宣布全港學校最早會於 2020年3月16日復課。

為保障  已申請本校中一自行收生的家長及同學的健康，學校決定取消原定於2020年3月7日舉行的自行收生面試。而學校自行收生的準則及比重，亦會相應調整為：

收生準則 原比重 調整後的比重

1. 學業成績 30% 40%
(小五及小六上學期成績及教育局成績次第)

2. 操行 30% 30%
(小五及小六成績表操行及評語)

3. 課外活動 20% 30%
(包括活動、服務及比賽獎項等)

4. 面試表現 20% 取消

學校將參考早前家長遞交的成績表副本、參與活動紀錄、服務紀錄及比賽獎項等資料，作出評估。同時，學校老師亦會於三月初致電申請本校中一自行收生的家長和同學，進一步了解同學在小學的學習情況和需要，為新學年作好準備。

獲取錄的學生將於2020年4月7日收到電話通知，學校亦會於同日寄出錄取通知書。上述通知安排不包括備取及落選學生，亦並非正式的派位結果。所有參加派位學生將於2020年7月7日，獲統一通知派位結果。

In view of the current novel coronavirus situation, the revised admission procedures for S1 Discretionary Places are as follows:

因應新型冠狀病毒感染疫情的發展，本校中一「自行分配學位」申請程序將作以下修訂：

Cancellation of the first interview

With the health concerns of students and teachers, and to avoid crowds and transmission of the virus, the first interview will be cancelled.

取消第一階段面試

為保障面試同學及師生健康，避免人群聚集，第一階段面試將會取消。

Revised admission criteria and weightings

Due to the cancellation of the first interview, admission criteria and weightings have been revised.  With the consent of the Incorporated Management Committee, no fewer than 80 applicants will be shortlisted according to the admission criteria and scores of items 1 to 4 below, and will be invited to attend the second interview from 7 March (Saturday) onwards.  The interview shortlist, date, time and reporting venue will be released on the school website in late February.  Applicants are advised to check the school website regularly for any updates and announcements from the school.

修改收生準則及比重

由於第一階段面試取消，經法團校董會同意，學校將根據以下一至四項目收生準則及分數挑選不少於80名申請者進入第二階段面試。第二階段面試將於3月7日（星期六）開始進行，面試名單、日期、時間、報到地點將於二月下旬在本校網頁公佈。

Preventive measures against communicable diseases

All candidates and teachers should wear surgical masks.

All candidates are required to check their body temperature upon arrival.

The number of waiting areas for interview will be increased.

In the preparation room, candidates’ chairs and desks will be arranged in an appropriate distance.

During the interview, candidates and teachers will keep an appropriate distance.

Surgical masks, alcohol-based handrub and other sanitizing materials will be provided.

Deferment of notification of acceptance

According to the Education Bureau, the date for notifying parents of successful applicants of their children’s inclusion in the Successful List for Secondary One Discretionary Places will be extended from 31 March (Tuesday) to 7 April (Tuesday).  Parents of successful applicants will be notified by letter and phone.

根據教育局的指示，有關通知家長其子女納入「自行分配學位正取名單」的日期，將由原定的3月31日(星期二)延至4月7日(星期二)，屆時本校將透過書面及電話通知所有正取的家長。

中一自行分配學位面試新安排 | New Arrangement of S1 DP Interview

因教育局宣布全港學校進一步延遲復課兩星期，即最早在3月16復課，中一自行分配學位面試將擬於3月28日(星期六) 舉行。申請者將於2月下旬收到本校以郵寄形式發出之通知。本校通知所有正取學生的家長日期將由原定3月31日（星期二）改為4月7日(星期二）。

如3月23日仍然未能復課，面試將會取消。本校會儘快於本校網頁公布安排。

Since the Education Bureau (EDB) announced that all schools would further defer class resumption for two weeks, that is, schools would resume their classes on 16 March the earliest. The S1 Discretionary Place Interview will be further postponed to 28 March (Sat). Applicants will be informed by mail in late February. Please note that the date for our school to notify parents of successful applicants is extended from 31 March (Tuesday) to 7 April (Tuesday).

If the class cannot resume on 23 March, the S1 Discretionary Place Interview will be cancelled. The school will make further announcement on the school website. Please check the school website regularly.
