呀仔係美國揾到份PT做我有些擔心，在校內食物銀行做data entry, 本身佢都多功課及project做好忙，何來抽時間做PT? 怕影響學業，我比佢的錢應該夠用的，佢堅持要做PT

佢可能想攞少少工作經驗，佢識諗，係好事。不如你讓他試一試，但要跟佢講清楚，要佢知道「學業行先」，要學分配時間。

有工作經驗寫落resume好有用, 更何況係學校入面做, 係一個好機會~是一個好選擇呢

唔使擔心咁多, 就算唔係返緊工, 果d時間都唔一定係用左去讀書架啦...=p

我個女第一年都有申請喺學校做PT，係喺學校嘅餐廳做，都做得開心嘅，但佢話真係學業太忙，做咗一年後今年就無再做了。

I studied in the US 2002-2006. First of all, it is legal to work on campus up to a certain number of hours. Second, there is a reason why international students want to work. One of the biggest reasons to find a campus part-time job, is to legally obtain a Social Security Number (similar to HKID). Do you know without an SSN, you can't even open a cell phone account? You can't open bank accounts online? you can't even get driving license? Just too things you can't do in a the society.
I agree with you there should be some balance of how he uses his time. I believe you will communicate with your son.
