Higher tuition fee and less Chinese lessons, and my son is studying happily in the current school. Of course for Harrow, the academic track record is much better with great facilities.
The standard of Chinese is actually quite good compared to many other IS. There are two different streams (native and foreign) as one will find in most other IS. But within each stream, children are further divided into different sets according to level. The standard of Chinese for those in the top sets in the native stream is good.
My daughter got offer too. She's gonna be my second child to study in Harrow.
You will have like 4 hours of Chinese session per week in year 1. There's 2 SCA and 2 CCA sessions you may customize in a way to boost their Chinese language if you really want to stress on that. Life is always a trade-off, you get more on one thing you sacrifice the others.
