如果你睇Yanamami條link，入面講嘅分數係以7科計。

"Apart from the 4 core subjects, students should take at least 2 electives (with one being either Biology OR Chemistry) offered in the HKDSE."

"Taking a third elective is strongly recommended as we use the total score of all subjects (4 cores + 2 or 3 electives) to rank students."

睇到話要求學生至少選修2個副科, 又強烈建議選修第3個副科,冇話一定計7科呀.

係今年學位增加既情況下(除非大量收NON-JUPAS), 又要同港大搶收學生，中大講到模棱兩可都理解既。

The conversion of HKDSE examination grades to our admission scores is as follows: 5**=7, 5*=6, 5=5, 4=4, 3=3.

Based on the previous results, we expect that students should achieve a total HKDSE score of around 40 or higher for entry into our medicine programme.

Mathematics Extended Part Module 1 or 2 will contribute to the total HKDSE score only if the grade in that module is better than the worst of any of the 6 or 7 subjects (4 cores + 2 or 3 electives).

Based on students’ School Reference Index, students who have put MBChB and/or GPS as one of Band A choices will be shortlisted for early interviews in May. After the release of HKDSE results in mid-July, students achieving high total HKDSE score (e.g. ≥ 40) and have not been interviewed before will be selected for second round of interviews in late July.


我諗呢個分唔係指6科，但4C+2X>40分當然無任歡迎。

FYI，我今年有去聽talk，佢話係計七科，如果你收六科的話。即是第七課的分數是0.
乜原來JUPAS 都有 conditional offer？

中大应该都係计7科，不過今年m1m2可當一科 代替 4+2or 4+3其中最差的一科，變相多咗位走。
中大還是計7科，預計40可interview, 咁當然如果6科也有40分，當然也可interview.

其實，港大已拋出最佳6科36分，通過面試就穩入，中大又點同人計7科啊？

中大網寫含含糊糊，唔怕既，仲有其它途徑收生。

人哋講明40分是面試綫，这肯定是7科的成績了，又何來含含糊糊？往年港大收best 6, 中大一向收7科，今年港大收36分，就沒有人報中大了？

This is generally true for most of the programs in cu.
Medical school is always an exception.

For easier illustration, all programs use the same formula in the table, but the admission scores did not truly reveal the true admission figures in medical school, because the 3rd X was not included.

如果有去Admission Talk，會清楚明白。單看資料，看這帖便知。保留返份additional note會好D。

單計成績，如果Best6=35，第7科=5，報MBBS會太冒險，自然選MBChB。M1/2有5*/5**更加傾向MBChB，中大今年改M1/2計法可搶多D考生。

呢位同學好有計劃，趁Y1修咗28個CREDIT要好勤力, 可能暑假都返學. 知唔知佢有冇修M?

不，佢上月同我講加埋修28分，應該不計6~7月果期，那時未出。佢話有德文、哲學、心理學之類，與其說是計劃，不如說是對知識既渴求？
佢高中時係修傳統3理科+M2，屋邨1A，每年產好多醫科生果間。佢話去年佢同學好多失手，但各有連佢在內4人分別入港大同中大醫，共8人上壘。
香港既大學，確比較國際化。內地、台灣及其他地區都多，個小朋友同房就係英國人，但醫科就多半係本地生。
