Admission to NAIS Year 7

My son has just got an offer into Year 7. He is currently studying at a local Chinese medium school and obviously does not enjoy going to school. We are still wondering whether the change will be best for him. Hope to be able to get some advice from parents of the school.

I submitted an application a year ago and didn’t get an assessment until recently. My son went through an assessment followed by an interview (on two different days).

I've just submitted application form for G7. May be need to wait a year.

May I know more about the 2 days interview (Experience Day)?   How long it takes each day and did your child enjoyed it?   My son will join the Experience day in late April.  Many thx

It was not an experience day as such. The first day was like an aptitude test done with a computer while the second was a language assessment where my son had to present a book he had read to the teacher. He said the teachers were very nice and he seemed to enjoy the process.

Are you invited to 2 experience day without test before? Which grade you apply? Foreign passport holder?

Did your child has any test before 2 days experience days?

yes, daughter was invited to 2 days experience days but she had a test before that.

My daughter applying for grade 7 and holding a foreign passport
