From my kid N class experience, I think they would cry no matter how many days we accompany hahaha.

有active waiting, 即最大機會之後都會有offer，還有waiting，以及reject

咩情況下active waiting 仲會有offer? 其他人唔accept offer / withdraw 咗?

有幾種可能性1. 有人hold住幾個offer，好遲先放，有啲甚至到開學先放。
2. 之前聽教職員講過，譬如小學係會hold起一啲位，留俾top priority嘅人（eg 教師嘅小朋友）。到開學前會放出嚟call waiting list 嘅人

其實個email都有寫，係學校根據經驗，或有一定數據支持，到開學前會有人放offer。

Stat says over 9x% placed in ESF primary schools. A year ago, over half of our class were given offer to their first choice, but this was before the start of the one-form policy.

Is it decided by lucky draw or their performance?

First by the random number assigned to you, then by the availability of seats in your first choice. For Esf kinder kids, primary teachers will come assess onsite until they get all they need to learn about the kid. So performance should not be a concern, as long as the kid can understand and respond in English.
