阿仔係香港讀IS (IB) 定係返加拿

Honestly , I think HK INternational schools are better public schools. Even I move back , I want him to go to private school. Also , it is too easy for kids to access to drugs in Vancouver, so that’s one of my concern about moving back

As I know , it is not easy to get in private schools in Vancouver. Most required SSAT for grade 6 applicants. I did a lil research. I like Mulgrave and West Point grey

This is an excellent topic!! I am also pondering on the same thing. Move back or stay and study in IS to buy time.

My boy is now in local school P6 and the school says my kid should be a Band 1A student, I don’t know whether he can get admitted to top international schools with their long waiting list and somewhat different admission tests vs LS. If not, am I depriving him?

朋友仔去加拿大讀IS，IB curriculum，average 33分，在當地已經係幾好的學校，唔易考。

我都唔知香港有邊間IS均分低過33。

I studied there. It was a lovely school, teachers were caring and campus is nice. But heard there is a bit of a wait to get in now.

見大家都係考慮到外地讀vs香港IS，如果唔想家庭分開留港讀，點解prefer IS? 係咪怕local school 考DSE難升外國大學？ 仲有冇其他原因呢？

我女中一，我都想計劃下前路🙏🏼

can I ask what school is that? Is it in Vancouver?
I am struggling also whether to return ... and school is one major consideration.
Private school is really expensive in Vancouver, on par with IS in HK...but then income in Canada is much lower.

主要考慮教學方法同課程。

Local嗰套我唔認同，淨係見到小朋友因為中文字嗰少少筆劃問題（可能只係嗰筆角度同standard 差啲啲）要重複抄寫n咁多次我已經覺得好無謂，好浪費時間。純粹個人意見

IS Tends to adopt critical thinking which is why I prefer IS over LS
