Agree. 如果入咗SFA,小孩和家長讀唔掂，難道在EK真心分享？
唯有自己死谷難谷，力求上進，又是中國人重面子的心態作崇
想真正知道哪間小學好唔好，是否適合小孩，只依表面的講座，天書簡介，真的未能完全掌握
所以有許多的錯配出現。未升小學的家長，只跟隨前人的做法，催谷小孩，入讀家長認為好的小學。
SFA的好，可能就是家長的努力，為孩子在學術上奠下良好的基礎，香港家長所追求的。
反之，追求小孩體育，音樂，其他方面有所發展，SFA可能未給予小孩空間。

希望多些用家分享。一大堆非用家家長喺度批評，或者道聽塗說邊個邊個親朋戚友跟唔上或者大條道理發表偉論真是無甚參考價值。樓主也是問緊用家意見。

作為SFA用家，可以講學校是程度深、快，但大部分老師是用心教的（當然個別除外）。小一、二功課不多，小三 ...

不如問下高小用家及p6 用家就得知答案，另中上下游同學升中如何就得知一二。

Why bother with a school focuses so much on academic.
Academic/knowledge is important of course but definitely not the most important. We are in 21st century - knowledge has become so easily accessible. You just google and within seconds tons of information are available. Human brain simply cant compete with AI and robotics in terms of knowledge storing. We better off send the kids to a school that may train up their creativity which AI/robots can’t replicate.

我覺得SFA 係一間好大方的學校。

大學揀科都係成績好揀先， 談理想之前都要搞掂成績先可以去揀自己想讀嘅科目， 將來先可以有機會做自己想做嘅職業。 難道你認為成績唔好，孩子將來可以選擇自己心儀的科目嗎？

If you do read between my lines, academic is definitely important yet we should not forget the importance of creativity and other softskills that a school can bring to the kids. There are excess supply of graduates out there and how one can differentiate himself. This is the key point here.

如果你講到電腦可以取代人類關於基本知識嘅範疇， 其實人類唔需要學寫字，唔需要學計數唔需要學語言， 電腦識咪得囉。 沒有基礎談什麼創造力？ 創造力也需要知識基礎去發揮去表達， 不懂寫字如何做作家？ 不懂計數如何去起樓？ 不懂語言如何去做外交家？ 學校給一個機會孩子去鞏固知識沒有錯。如果因為學校成績好就去否定佢，覺得佢只著重學術， 跟住話why bother with this school， 我又唔覺得你講嘅嘢究竟有咩實質作用，又解答咗樓主乜嘢問題。 同埋你講嘅嘢究竟對呢間學校同呢間學校嘅學生有什麼益處？

My son just spent two years with SFA and then transferred to another school.
In this relative brief tenure, my son has developed his learning discipline, time management, perseverance in the fast pace and highly competitive environment of SFA.

I believe such development of personal characters or soft skills will benefit him for his whole life.

SFA has offered one of the most enriched gifted programme among the local schools for many years. It covers not just STEM but also STEAM as some arts or humanities courses are included.

Thank you, much more concrete than other comments.

However, I still think there should be other options, apart from academic studies, throughout the whole primary school life.
