CDNIS second round interview

Anyone know if there really is a second round interview for CDNIS pre-reception ?  Should I treat it as a rejection as I just received their email saying my kid is being placed in the second round interview group and should there be a second round interview we will be notified before March....

So disappointed not even have a chance to be interviewed....

I also have not received any emails since application yet. I applied for Pre-Reception on 30 Sept. No priority. No sibling. Not Canadian.

I have received an email from CDNIS today, indicating my son is placing in the “second round interview group” for pre reception. They will contact us before March if there is any interview can be offered.
I guess having an interview chance is not big. Non passport holders and no siblings.

no. the assessment fee only needs to be paid within certain days after receiving the assessment email.

When is the assessment scheduled for your child? Dec?

Oh that’s good for you. Perhaps ur son has a very good profile that stands out from the rest ? Which school does he attend now? I thought all non Canadians will be put into the second round....seems not the case then.

Oh btw ... hope u don’t mind me probing further, did u get an email saying your little one is placed in second round or u get an email directly giving u an interview date?

CDNIS sent the email stated that they would arrange an assessment and I needed to pay assessment fee. After paying, they emailed me the assessment date.

Congrats to you to have an interview chance. I wonder how they choose from the non Canadian passport pool to grant interviews? Does your child hold any non HKSAR passport?  Perhaps they favor any foreign passport holders.....

Yes , pre-reception. Just got an email that an assessment will be granted.

Me too, I just got an email saying an assessment will be arranged for my kid.
