Tsing Yi campus. 是否不一定有play visit (interview) or school tour?我知道好多人收左emails 可以有 play visit or school tour. 但我仍未有

TY has 500+ applicants in 2019/20 intake. Play visits scheduled in Nov18 or Jan19.

Oh Really? Thanks. Do u know if there is second interview procedure? Any priority for nov 18 applicants ? So both batch of applicants have equal chance to get to second interview or actually Jan 19 is just like on waitlist only to fill up those who failed on nov 18?

Tsing Yi will see all 500+ applicants who applied within the deadline this year on 16 Nov and 18 Jan. The play visit will see if your child meets the minimum requirements. The chance of getting a place is based on your priority category and random number.

For school tours, you can book one via email (dates are on the website).

Thanks. Sorry, I have so many questions. I am not quite sure what is the "random" no.? such as lucky draw by computerized system?
also is the foreign passport holder can be considered as one of the priority categories? or just siblings, ESF staffs, oversea returning students , etc. are fall into this priority category?

Therefore, no point to know the total number of applicants , coz they are not having equal chance of being selected
Many of applicants may have certain priority

thanks. True. No doubt it's hard to get in ESF schools... anyway, have chance to get the interview is already a big step better than not even given the interview chance.
And i was wondering if the foreign passport holder is one of the priority categories because it stated that they have to accept 70% non local passport holder.
