“I personally think there’s going to be a greater demand in 10 years for liberal arts majors than there were for programming,” Cuban tells Bloomberg

個人覺得ability to think creatively係一種技能，on top of某一科目。例如電子產品功能設計需要有電子，Structural或者最新科技底層知識。純文科出身未必能夠應付。

呢段說話我完全贊同。Programming有rules，在AI當道下絕對冇運行。所謂學STEM千祈唔好以為將來做Programmers，只不過要學識如何去了解和運用新科技 (因為將來應用包含AI，robot，Material和大數據等)，或者有能力自行寫啲Codes或者找尋工具幫助完成手上的工作（Layman啲講例如識用Excel或者Database工具就唔使靠人，又唔使計數計餐懵）

Liberal Arts has no "topic", no programming, no structural, no engineering....

真係唔識答，前路睇唔通。我對孩子要求係多元智能或文理俱備。我個人睇法係將創意和通識等歸類為個人技能，如同programming skills 和外語。

its not news.  好耐之前已有文章提過有it 請art grads.  in fact 有一ex colleague in it 正是這樣，不過personally我覺得這類人好難在it undustry 上到位(technically speaking)，但當然management 又唔同講法

Mark and Elon 說 study Liberal Arts is better than programming in the future AI world.  和「以前」請 Arts 做 programming 唔同。

香港地想揾不錯收入，除了極少數行業如醫生，一定要走 management.

haha, i didnt actually know what la was abt.  
其實好似教育咁，多元化發展會比齋讀書好，出來工作也一樣，太專第時行業近黃昏就好難轉。不過la 畢業出來其實可以做乜工？算什麼discipline?

要考慮如何入行，除非好勁穩入M T或者有關係。

你未段個d、thk out of the box，家長真是要從小培養，唔可以靠local edu system

但 think out of the box etc 要長期培養，家長影響到高小大幅減退。學校教育無可能對孩子成長無影響。
