所以我覺得一開始樓主 asked the wrong question.

與其找一間學生上堂不用電腦的學校，不如找一間真正有培養學生好好利用電腦作學習用途的學校？

其實每一科情況不同，小兒的母校（小兒已經是大學生 )，以往部分老師已經會即時分享資訊 electronically 。
學校很好，有很多非學術的教育，有教學生面對毒品，賭博，酒，男女之間，電腦，甚至精神健康。電腦只是一個工具，如果好好運用，是一個好幫手。
小女比小兒大三年，兩個孩子學習方式分別已經十分大，小女當年中學，電腦主要用作做 internet research ，打字 print 功課。到小兒一屆，很多功課也是上網交，連家中 printer 也少用了。
小兒的大學 ( 外國 )，有部份科的 short quiz 是用電腦做，每個人 login 自己 account ，各有各做，份卷可以是同一批題目，不同細節 ，題目先後次序不亦同，好難出貓。
小女比弟弟早三年入大學，當年大學的情況分別很大。
再過幾年，到你孩子到高中或大學，相信又是另一個境況。
不用執著於上堂是否用電腦，不如教孩子 big picture ，甚麼是自己的責任，自己要有甚麼學習態度。
上到高中和大學，父母或老師講乜都冇用，要靠孩子自律。
PS 早前執屋，找到自己當年用過的 four figure table ，科技進步了，現在的中學生不需要用它了。

ACT 都用電腦考。。。

It’s hard to avoid using computers in lessons. My 2 children study in 2 different IS. One very academic and one more liberal. Both need heavy use of the machines in lessons coz sometimes teachers might want them to share their work during lesson and it’s easiest for them to do this in google drive or google classrooms. And teachers now tend to make use of google classroom to share some resources so they don’t need to print out and sometimes such info are of very big/abundant volume and it’s hard to share with the kids physically. The upside of technology is that it brings convenience to us.  However kids get very easily distracted and would tend to jump from one task to another without in depth engagement in a single task.

Questions can be stupid, wrong or strange. When I said "strange" in the beginning, it was an euphemism for "wrong". Now you understand why I said I was being polite.

I made subjective comments, some people agree and some people like you disagree. It is very normal and should not take it personally. It is free speech and you are free to slap critical terms like arrogant, unfriendly rude etc to me also.  Ultimately other readers will determine if you and I are reasonable in making those comments.

If you read other people's replies, no one gave you a straight answer. Now you understand the quality of your original question. Yet people are trying to help and you are still nursing your damaged ego. Go figure.

Do you mean you judge the quality of a question with the criteria whether a straight answer could be given?
Don't you know everything has pros and cons?
Haven't you heard a saying “there is no stupid question, only stupid answer”?
But of course I am not saying you are stupid. Don't take it personally. : )
But I do appreciate you sharing the personal experience of your daughter and yourself. Cause healthy debate is always welcome and very helpful, no matter you agree or disagree with other people. At least it's much better than an offensive judgement.

好多家長面對過或將會面對的問題，Mac機（或PC)可以設定Parental Controls,可以防止不適合的websites 等等，browsers 亦可由家長monitor 所有history. 所以可以不用太擔心

阿仔學校用Mac 機，我set 咗parental controls，佢要dl有用program(我批準），但我自己唔記得密碼（阿媽太豬）。

阿仔自己成功解鎖dl (我唔知佢點解到），之後佢問我駛唔駛再set密碼。我話set 都無用，你都解到。

可能已經有你admin user password.  要改一改了.   家中WiFi Router可以設定什麼時候WiFi 中斷(指定devices都可以）.   方法好多的。

其實正如樓上jm 所講，要佢自己學識自我控制。
已經試過WiFi router 限時間，但佢電話數據大把。

佢喺屋企用電腦電話電子產品要喺廳，唔可以拎入房，至少我可以望見。差電只可喺廳差。

我有佢所有電子產品包括Apps/ e-mail password, 可以隨時開啟，佢無得say no.
