做大仔 or 細仔入幼稚園好些?

本人兒子2003年12月出世,  2006年9月(即2歲9個) or 2007年9月(即3歲9個)入幼稚園好些?
他在13個月起開始參加 playgroup 至今.......
我計劃在他24月大時報nursery.....
大家是否覺得可以比佢2006年9月入kinder (ie. 做細仔)

呢個問題對於好多媽咪都幾頭痛，我個女女於一月出生便焗住做大女，我便睇到大女真係著數Ｄ，因為佢間kg係收足３歲，最細果Ｄ都係９月出世，覺得佢地都幾ＢＢ。
其實做大仔or細仔都幾睇自己心儀嘅幼稚園，有Ｄ活動教學有Ｄ係傳統教學，有Ｄkg係k1己開始寫字k2要默書，我諗比一個細仔(如12月出世)又真係太辛苦。

my boy is also 細仔 (born on 12/2003),
but as he has a 5 yr old sister as modeling,
he seems to learn everything faster,
compare with his sister,who was born on July.
As sister is doing quite OK (the teacher said no problem both in academic and behaviour),
so I guese my boy can try K1 at 2yr and 8mth.
If not, he can repeat in K1 or K2....

如不是入讀課程較深的kinder，2yr8m讀K1真係冇乜問題，一搬kinder的K1好淺，老師/學校的要求吾高，去到K2才開始嚴緊些，何必未讀先認輸。我仔都係12月，K1下學期仲轉左去間心儀但課程較深的kinder，佢行為幾BB，但學習沒什麼問題，如果K2跟吾上我才會repeat，如一路順利，咪留返個"quota"先lor，將來吾知會發生咩事架ma。

我吾反對做大仔，但吾好刻意遲一年才入學lor，K1 or K2跟吾上才repeat做大仔好D。因為小朋友一入學，圈子大了，又有老師教多D野，家長可以更了解小朋友性格、行為、興趣、天份等。如果硬要佢遲一年，好多野家長會遲發覺，錯失良機未定。

I pefer to big child in kindergarten. In my experience in interview of kindergarten, the ability of big child is better that small child and school's teacher like to choose the bigger one espeacial of famous kindergarten.

我個仔同你個仔一樣大, 我都諗住比佢做細仔jar, 即明年就讀K1啦....

呢個問題我都經歷過。我個女係2002年12月。
我當初係想個女做細女，但經一輪嘅研究，問過老師、睇過其他家長嘅意見，最後選擇咗做大女。宜家個女返緊Pre nursery，好明顯見到個分別。

What is the difference????
I plan to place my son to a nursery when he reaches 2 years old and then find a good kinder for him in Sept 2007.
My rationale is : 1. Keep learning in nursery and 2. He is a 'big boy' in K1.

What is your comment on my plan?

吾好以為遲一年考K1十拿九穩，成功故然有，失敗的亦吾少，其家長不會在BK講jar。

我朋友老婆在Kln Tong某名Kinder教，佢話大仔去考時成3歲，係成熟D，但個別亦比較倒蛋，講相反答案，明明知的又話吾知，一係就搖櫈，一係就搞抬面D野，bye-bye/多謝都未必講，有講都冇用，己經扣晒分。

我仔9月升K2，如果當初遲一年入學即9月才K1，即3歲9個月才接受教育，3歲9個月才得到過去一年所得到的，我會好過意吾去lor！ :cry:

我認識3個朋友的仔仔.女女都是細仔.細女但成績和操行都名列前3名.  如果為了大.細之分別,去浪費一年的光陰,實在可惜.

我的小朋友都是細仔, 剛剛讀完k2.  我本人覺得細仔確實蝕底.  以我的小朋友為例, 學習上完全沒什麼問題, 但我可以告訴大家, 細仔在學校好多時都是被忽略的一群, 好多表演都是大仔做的, 可能是老師 consider 到大仔水準較為穩定, 但問心, 仔仔是否真的是差勁, I don't think so !  所以我決定幫仔仔 repeat K2.
如果大家覺得這不是問題, 大家可以忍受自己的小朋友要由 k1 -  p4 都在這樣的環境下成長, 那麼做大仔 or 細仔都不是問題.

I suggested to let the son repeat 2 years in K1, instead of nursery.  K1 school fee is cheaper than nursery and the son can learn more about K1 knowledge.

Although it seems not very favourable to be small boy or girl when in kinder and primary, but those small kids can proudly say that they finish university at age 21 instead of 22.  
By the time the repeaters graduate, the 'small' kids already have 1 year working experience and higher pay.
I suggest small kids to repeat ONLY if they cannot catch up with others.  If they are about or above class average, don't waste a year!

I talked to many teachers about this as my daughter is a small girl,too.  They don't recommend repeating as long as the kids are happy at school and can maintain average standard.  When the kids grow older, the differences will narrow down and 'big' kids won't be advantageous anymore.

做K1 repeater 會否形响小朋友的自信心呢?

Supposed he will not really understand, You can let him know "this year you will promote to K1X, used the wording is "ROMOTED TO", no need to mention to him is repeat. If you repeated in a same school, I think the teacher and headmaster will assit you to handle the kid feeling.

My son is completed K1 lesson and will repeat K1 in the same kindergarten.  If after one or two years to repeat will really hurt him, maybe his classmate also will know he is repeater then really會形响小朋友的自信心!!
