Yesterday, I went to see Dr. Paul Lam.  I orginally wanted to order the hair test. However, he talked to me and asked me to try the supplement he gave out to Yu for several weeks and then make the test. He said some children will not find any mercury in the hair at the begining, it is hiden in the body somewhere. However, after trying supplement for certain period, the mercury will come out in the hair..
He asked us not to eat any fish, grapes and so on.
He has given Yu B12 injection and following medicines: Zince Magnesium supsension, Vitabex A +Lipoic Acid Syr + Bio-Tomosan and cream of Glutathione Gel...  
Kawai, do you know the Glutathione Gel is same thing as TD-DMPS in order to remove the mercury and other heavy metal elements?

Hi ! I just received the biotek result.
My son is highly sensitive to casein, cow's milk, yogurt, egg, soy (all his favorite ), cashew nut, seasame, peanut.
Is that mean my son cannot drink any milk, even soy milk ?

There is a time limit e.g. 9 months, 6 months or 3 months about restricting the food.  After this period of time, there should be another test again.

I understand there's a time limit.   Since my son is highly sensitive to these food, i.e. 6-9months without these food.  I have to find some supplement for him during these period.

Your son seems to have no choice at all except rice milk.  Try Rice Dream which is only available in some Parknstore.  Call parknshop customer services and see where you could buy this product.

Has anyone ever tried B-12 liquid sublingual form?  This is highly recommended as alternative to the injection method.

I'll receive the report within 2 weeks from US.  I think you should follow Dr. Paul Lam's protocol and take the hair test on next visit.  Dr. Lam's charges are inexpensive if compared with Dr. Trodd.

Besides, do you give B-12 injection to Yu twice a week yourself?

Dr. Paul Lam gave an B12 injection to Yu when we visited him. And he did not arrange any injection with us at home. I think he will give another injection to him two weeks later when we visited him again.

By the way, what is the Rice Dream, is it a powder which can replace milk? I am looking for the soy milk for Yu, can Rice Dream be a replacement as well?

seems worth to try.  But do you know the exact dosage and content per each MB12 injection?  Need to compare it before we know how much to give it to our sons.

Have you found any effect from your son after taking the B-12 injection?  I guess Dr. Lam wanted to pull out the hidden heavy metals by the B-12 injection and those supplements before proceeding to the hair test.  You better stick with Dr. Lam's protocol as he's one of the specialists in this area.  I found his name from 嬰兒醫護 but that column was missing.  Many moms took their baby to visit Dr. Lam for hair test.  I'm planning to take my baby to see Dr. Lam and ask for his opinion for mercury free vaccines.

Regarding the Rice Dream, it's available in two sizes which are1 litre and 190ml.  The price is quite expensive.

The "DIY" hair test is originally for myself.  However, I did the test to my son as we want to see any difference or change after six months of supplements.

For the B-12 liquid sublingual form, I'll contact the manufacturer for the exact dosage to our sons.  I don't think Dr. Trodd will agree with this substitute.  Actually, DAN's protocol has to stick with their restricted guideline.

My child has taken Methylcobalamin Vitamin B-12 (Sublingual) prescribed by Dr. Trodd for 2 months.  I don't find anything different from before.

It's really difficult to judge which method is beneficial to yr children, as you receive several methods at the same, right??
haha, but really agree with you, personally, I dont think bio-medical Tx is very useful to Autistic children.

I asked him what can substitute the injection but he asked me to keep until the hair test result is available by 2 weeks later.  May be I need to ask him whether my son should switch to the sublingual form next time.
