Did you hear the experience of a family?
The parents spent a lot of money to let their son study a ... Honestly, if this boy couldnt achieve much given his parents had provided certain amount of resources on him, I dont think he's that excellent at all. In such case, he might have not been able to enter HK universities if he stayed in HK.... so his parent's investment has still been valued since the son got a degree after all. Parenting skills also matter, if this parent aimed at having great return from their investment, they should have guided and nurtured their son in a way that he could achieve financial return like getting a decent job, etc. Otherwise, I think they should let go of the idea about having absolute return from education.
