CIS, Gsis 只有IBDP, aren't they?

GSIS 是British curriculum, IGCSE, IBDP. 以前是考A level的, 但2015開始第一年轉考IB。

Singapore International School (Hong Kong) IB Results

6 July 2017

Students from Singapore International School (Hong Kong) performed very well in the May 2017 session of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

In this cohort of 41 students who enrolled for the IB Diploma, 32% of students scored 40 points and above while 95% successfully obtained the IB Diploma. The 5 highest scorers achieved 42 points and the average score of our Diploma recipients is 37.

This year, 32% of the cohort obtained the Bilingual Diploma, the highest number of recipients ever. The Bilingual Diploma is only awarded to students who successfully complete two Language and Literature courses as part of their Diploma Programme.

French International School 2017 IB Results:
We are delighted to announce that all members of the FIS Class of 2017 successfully obtained the full IB Diploma – a 100% success rate!

• The FIS average score was 37.5 points, 7.45 points above the world average of 29.95 points.
• 33% of our students, 9 in total, achieved 40 points or above.
• 1 student attained the coveted maximum score of 45 points – a fantastic achievement! Only 218 students worldwide out of the 159,400 who sat this year’s IBDP achieved this perfect score.

At Po Leung Kuk Ngan Po Ling College (PLKNPLC) we offer the IBDP as an alternative to the local senior secondary curriculum. We are dedicated to providing students with all round education and a happy, harmonious and positive learning environment conducive to moral, academic, physical, social, personal and artistic development for pursuing excellence.

This year is a milestone in the history of PLKNPLC as our first batch of 13 students of the IB school took their Diploma Programme exams in May 2017 and we are pleased to announce their results. 15.38% of the candidates have achieved an outstanding score of 40 points or above while 100% of them have scores above 30.

如用同一準則，應該無一間全IB, EST 有 BTEC, VSA 有cert ...

同意! 最重要能知所準備, 早作計劃!

是否只有 IB ，也會大把人自然流失。一到 Year 9 Year 10 ，看成績已有一個譜，好多家長心裏有數，不會比孩子讀 IB 。因此，好多學校，不用出聲，家長自己也會比孩子去 boarding 算。我唔認有否篩選學生入 IBDP 咁重要。

其實去boarding不一定是因為讀「不上」IB,可能是認為英美top boarding schools 師資比較好，也可能認為從英美top high schools 進入top universities 機會比較高，讀IB 不代表比美AP或英A levels叻

GSIS 以我所知無篩選。因我識一個GSlS成績好差的，一樣上lBDP。
