In the May 2017 IBDP examinations, 100% of our students registered for the full IB Diploma were successful, a statistic well above the global average of around 79.3%*. This is a remarkable achievement provided that KCCIS is a non-selective IB World school. Our mean point score is 35.1 which is above the global average of 30.07*. Average grades for all IB subjects are well above worldwide averages for all IB subject groups indicating that our students performed brilliantly across the curriculum. Our students achieved an average of 5.51 IB points per subject compared to 4.80* worldwide. Additionally, 31.2% of the cohort received the prestigious IB Bilingual Diploma, which recognizes students who have achieved native or near-native level in two languages! Regarding individual student performance, 5 students (31.25% of the cohort) achieved an IB score of 40 and above, which is considered the threshold for admission to the world’s best universities. Our highest achiever achieved the distinction of scoring 42 out of a maximum of 45 point.
