Being on the selection panel is a different thing because the applications have already reached LPC.

I am not judging, imagining or ascertaining anything. I just asked a question. Did I ask a reasonable question?   That principals have a self interest in keeping good students and can they also be interested in recommending students to leave the school?   The two interests don't seem to coexist. Isn't this at least a conundrum? Especially the schools have probably spent years raising the students and hand them over to the next school on a silver platter?

To me it is like asking my existing employer to give me a reference and recommendation for another job in a competing company.

May be principals do not work that way, Idk.   That is why I have been asking this question.

If thinking of that question is 小人，then I am guilty as charged.

I did know of a case where a top student from a government secondary school had difficulty in getting the recommendation from the principle to apply to LPC.  Fortunately, she did manage to get the recommendation letter in the end and got admitted into LPC .

Not too outstanding I would say

THE BEST EVER IB AND BTEC RESULTS OF ISLAND SCHOOL
It was a record breaking year for this year’s International Baccalaureate (IB) results at Island School. The average score for the IB Diploma was 36.2 points with 21% of students achieving over 40 points. The top performing students were Kristiana Tsang and Ryan Lee who both achieved 44 points out of a maximum of 45. Thomas Biek, Andrea Chin, Deborah Kwong, Heng-Jeung Yuen and Arundhati Mukherjea all scored an impressive 43 points.

There were also some incredible results for the Applied Learning Pathway students. 51% of individual grades were awarded the highest mark of a Distinction*. Six students actually achieved the maximum possible grades of three Distinction* in all their BTEC subjects. They were Robbie Stamp, George Wyatt, Rohan Mather, Hannah Johannson, Jake Olsen and Jessica White.

我估應該是40+

車，成日話人地學校差。
但間間也有學生 40+ 以上啦。
唔通以 #241 個 list 計，在 CSS 拿 42 的學生會差過在 SPCC 拿 36 ？

ESF 一向有讚 BTEC 學生。
有些學校重點去晒醫科法律，但 ESF 學生較多不同選擇，
alumni publication 會看到不同 talent 舊生。
就是要欣賞每一個人的長處。

我欣賞英基是它們懂得讚賞不同能力的學生！唔似一D所謂名校，在那裏爭爭爭，是尖子就抬上天，但中下的學生就超凄涼！

細路嘅能力及興趣個個唔同，有d讀書叻，有d運動，音樂叻...........。就算讀書叻嗰d都有好多種，例如數學叻，語文叻或理科叻等等。一間好嘅學校係盡量發掘每個細路嘅潛能及興趣，幫助佢地盡展所長，而唔係純粹鬥多狀元，醫生或律師。香港同外國最唔同係大部分人將醫生及律師等科目等同神科，其他科目就好似次人一等。依㸃有d奇怪，尤其是香港醫生律師等已經唔係以前咁好搵。

讀書叻.......咁又怎樣! 今天的醫生是靠保護主意', 排擠外国回流的醫生, 來保住自己飯碗, 因而變成所喟神科. 其實97 前回流的醫生, 很多今天已變成名醫, 包括陳馮富珍, 高永文等. 另醫学會又從來沒有拿出有力數據对比回流和本地醫生失職的比例, 就說回流的要經過超嚴格的考試.大家看看那间DR 集團的醫生在那裏培訓出來吧！吾好意思, 離題.

係，香港的医生自我保護太強，排擠外國回流的、也排擠藥濟師！真的有料的英美德先進國家回流當然好。
不過香港人有時幾矛盾，怕一放，就不覺的被一堆有門路的大陸医護入侵，真是兩難！

這正正是醫生的所喟擋箭牌. 其實他們是有很大的自主權. 例如醫學會可先選全球top 20 欧美 的medical school 做認可 ,外国qualify 后,  然后規定要在香港做一年houseman, 等等. 但醫學會為了自身利益(不是广大市民的利,),為什麽要這樣做?n所以我的意思是: 讀書 叻的一群, 也不代表什麽的了不起.

除了西醫，中醫一樣排拆國內名醫在港行醫，藥劑師，律師也一樣，考牌是他們的共識，全部都有問題，定係西醫特別D？
