IB 近係IS vs LS 多，而且總係好喜歡針對好成績嘅學校去批評，都快要上大學啦，人家坦率的分享個人對學校睇法，總換來負面刻薄挑釁，平心而論，相互間有何得着？

我就回應吧。  人家也好有禮貌地認同。

那麼不如以後註明某幾間學校不得在國際版回應。
但是請求你們也別提我們名字吧。
否則，見到不對言論，誤導其他家長，很難不發言。

無必要跟某類人一般見識，大部分家長也不會抱這種態度。
我自己覺得如本地IS學生可以有認可中文測試水平，可由Jupas選擇入讀大學學位是合理的方向，正如UCAS要求IELTS達相關水平可申請一樣。那樣，本地大學生水平該有一定調節，non-Jupas的窄路該有更多機會。

有類人是卑視看低某些人、某些學校。事別兩年，固有作風沒有因歳月而改變，還更變本加厲。此人當初超級愛戴的學校今年成績被人抨為極差，不知彼有什麼感覺呢？

你只是看到有jm曲解貴校而作出解釋。

你的言辭有禮無害。

作解釋而被看作是hard sell, 不是你的問題。

你知道嗎？頂著SPCC的光環，是注定容易被人射箭。不管你寒窗苦讀用了20分努力，在別人眼中也只值5分。我唔只講緊呢一版，你在傳統中學那邊的待遇也不會好得了多少。情況就如同一個富2代努力打拼創事業做成績，在他人眼中他的成功一定係有一半因為先天優勢。

親友孩子曾在SPCC讀IB。佢入IB前成績已經中下。佢親口同我講，成績頂尖果班唔係咁多人恨入IB。點解？因為呢班考試機器尖子對DSE有信心，如無偏好或必要，就無謂忽然轉會從頭摸索。所以SPCC只俾叻人讀IB跟本是假的。

SPCC的孩子，由小到大不是用IB模式培養，英文也不如國際學校同學流利和運用自如也有如此成績，值得讚賞。用樣地，我也十分替其他IS如ESF得到佳績感到高興。每一個學制，各有利弊。大家可以做到互相欣賞和尊重。

建議你無謂再在此爭拗。要明白的已經明白，要偏見的，你再講10日都冇用。

By the way, some elites would like to choose IB as well.   It really depends on the personality and learning habit.   

If you like critical thinking, exploring, debating, presentation, research and writing essays,  you may prefer IB.
If you don't want to follow the rule of EDB, you may prefer IB.
If you target some Universities abroad, you may prefer IB.
If you want to study Medicine and Law in HKU, it'd better study DSE due to the percentage of Jupas/Non-jupas.
(Above is my personal judgement only.  Certainly there are many different reasons. Pls don't blame me.)

Some people like to label the schools. Their words are very offensive.

I have friends in ESF, RC, DGS, DBS, Yew Chung, La Salle,  QC, CIS, CKY and many other schools.  Their kids are wonderful and kind.  However, it made me heartbroken to read some parents' harsh criticism.  Just like above, people always like to describe DGS girls in this way.  It is very impolite and unfair.  I recognise lots of nice girls from DGS.  I do believe that there are different types of students in various schools.

學兄丶學姐 覺得 IB 一點也不濕濕碎。有些不適合的學生更會後悔不選擇DSE.
我們也聽到不少前人分享。

早幾年的國際學校，大把學生為了逃避IB, 而立即考好AL去報大學。
我姨甥就是好例子。 他AL成績優異入到一流大學。

但是，絕對不代表IB叻過DSE或AL or vice versa.
IB困難在於太大範圍和時間管理控制。

IS 人才輩出，亦出好多優秀嘅學生，當然不用酸溜溜。



FYI, students are required to take 3 elective subjects. They may also take Music, Spanish or French as a 4th elective.

贊成，尤其海外版，自己本身未試過在海外留學，真的一頭霧水，全靠有些家長真的無私分享。早年孩子參與了一個summer school,也是從EK 家長取經，令他有個難忘的夏天。

Probably not good time management.  But she does have certain talent in Art and she likes it. Her teacher thinks she can do art.  I told her to go with her passion.

The Hong Kong Chinese Christian Churches Union Logos Academy (“Logos Academy”) provides an eleven-year “through-train” primary and secondary education. We are very proud of our IB graduates who have been striving to become inquiring, knowledgeable and caring individuals. Through intercultural understanding and respect, our students have been pursuing their life goals built on truth, benevolence and beauty. Their growth is well observed in spiritual, moral, cognitive, aesthetic, physical and social aspects.

With concerted efforts of all Logosians, our fifth cohort of IB students has sat the May 2017 examination with encouraging results. The following table illustrates the overall performance of our fifty-six IB graduates:
