你看看GHS中一intake學生質素，再看看DSE成績。

又看看港同中一intake學生群，再看看港同DSE成績。

又例如看看Maryknoll / Sr Paul convent 中一intake 學生群，以及其DSE成績。

為免引來無謂指責，其他就不多言了。

因我女今年是今年取錄及註冊了的校外生 (不是德小升上的)
閣下所言使我忐忑不安。 是否不智地放棄自行及統一派位的機會呢 ?

我女是德中生,依我所見,德中是一間水準很高的中學,德小生(英文強)和外來生(中、數強)互補不足, 如學生能跟得上, DSE成績一定不會差。

聖保祿中學都係, 小學津校, 中學部差不多接收哂佢地小學部學生, 但DSE成績比好多B1A 中學梗好

   Just know that the current principal is on this position for few years only.  Is she capable to lead GHS back to its brilliant period ??   I am feeling uncomfortable after reading posting from other EK posters.  

   I suspect whether I am right to take the GHS's offer  (though no way to return now).   I don't want my decision affect adversely (害) the future of my daughter.   Since many persons commented that GHS is not as good as other DSS but it is my only daughter's offer yet.   (She is not as smart as her classmates.  Her classmates got offers from SPCC & DGS ...).



  Any can comment ?

Note:  Please forgive me as I am weak in typing Chinese characters.

GHS都收咗你個女無需忐忑，未知是否會直升上中學部/未入讀GH小學的或者會忐忑。網上所講的事何必要認真，自己理性分析下，看得多呢類留言都好悶。

我也有數位朋友囡在GH讀，都是讚學校的。似乎外人負評多，但用家就讚多。

     My daughter had also applied for 2 other Band-1A DSS, but she is not smart to get their offers.  (Though she is a Band-1 student as said by her teacher).    The SSP allocation system is so stressful and terrible to the parents/students 大折磨,  I am not confident & feeling uneasy to wait until the BIG dayon 11-Jul-2017, so just take offer from GHS without big hesitation.  

    Besides, I always heard about wrong matching 錯配 if choosing the schools with wrong strategy.  It happened to my nephew : she is a Band-2 student, but allocated to a Band-3C school few years ago.
     
   
   GHS is a DSS, I need to degrade my living standard for paying her school fee    I hope I haven't made a wrong decision and hope she can enter the University by studying GHS.  All what I did is for her goodness.  

   Thanks for your patience to read what I wrote,  what I said here is truly from my heart.

(PS: I am a poor middle-class person).

唔使咁擔心喎，EK好多時係將GHS同其他3女直資去比較，呢4間都係全港前列中學，GHS仍然係好好既中學，太多比較變成自尋煩惱，況且，中學先入隊同小學係有D分別，中學收生多係依據成績去決定 ~~~

我可以好肯定話你知GHS係好學校。

但讀書不能只依靠學校。

如果你係外來生，有兩點要注意：

1. 外來生如果成績不佳，有很多係因為讀緊中文小學，要時間同能力適應全英教學，呢樣要有心理準備去努力。

2. GHS DSE英文科成績非常好。但中文科DSE成績最近兩年，5級或以上只有13%，中文呢科要自己諗辦法加把勁，不能只靠學校

   Thanks for all of you to provide constructive advice & encouragement.

   The whole SSP allocation is such an extremely suffering task.  The suffer is on both parent & the kid.
- Attend school talks, not less than 10 within 3 years
- Exchange information with parents in school (however, some may be false because so many parents are lying. because we are competitors for good schools)
- Profile preparation.  Take so many weeks for many versions.
- Urge the kid to maintain good results in marks-submission exams
- Attempt to get awards & certs as much as possible
- Chose the schools for 自行
- Practices for interviews
- Attend interviews (8 interviews totally )
  It is so horrible & exhaustive since we are working parents both. ....   

  It is why the negative comments on GHS bring frustration to us.  Anyway, my daughter likes the school rather than HYS as she said.  I actually prefer HYS because of the 性價比, but my kid is 無緣 to it.    (She got 2nd round interview for HYS but only get waiting position, and I think the chance is less, waiting list is too too long).   Up to this point, hope the experience will force my kid to grow up as well.

  Besides, hope all other parents/P.6 students can get the suitable school this year.

GH education is all rounded.

Your daughter will certainly learn a lot more apart from academics.

Appreciate the good aspects and culture of the school. At the same time, be realistic and know the deficiencies of the school's teaching and prepare ahead. I'm sure your child will have very fruitful years in this school.

如何得知收的收的外校生的成績差？

我校band2尾女生……因運動叫做幾好，入了GHS，但自己原校升中，無因為佢運動好在自行收佢！

邊間小學…………吾好講啦！

B2尾女生，若係津校，統一抽獎都可以參與噃。除非係非派位直資。

呢樣唔出奇，有一個半個呢d人在學校出現，當年香港女飛人我同班，都係外面的揀入來代表參加學界運動會，其實其他的學校都會有此情況。
