Depends on which catchment you will apply for ESF primary. If it is on HK side, maybe worthwhile to take the offer as there are quite some outsiders (i.e. those without any priority) who got chances of interview and eventually admitted.

Sorry. I don't know much about the Kowloon side. It would be better to defer to other parents in that catchment to answer you.

According to their website, kids need to complete 2 terms before next Jan to gain priority. But only able to complete 1 term before Jan, if join in August for K2. I guess it would be the same for RC.

No priority just join K2. Quite clear in their intro.

No priority, but still they will be grouped together with friends for interviews and primary school will come for school visits.

It depends on what other choices you have now.
If your current kinder will offer priority in other primary school, then I dont think it worth taking the offer.
But if the current kinder is not in advantage of any primary schools either, I will make the move to esf K2.
