Thanks -- wondering how different ? Is it because IB being more free style? Sorry for the basic question but does the curriculum at GSIS kindy adopt U.K. Early years ? Thanks again for any insights and sharing.

GSIS is British curriculum which is more structured. ESF is IB which is more freestyle and focus more on self exploration. Both ways work well on us so we just chose the school we like. Having said that we like both schools so much.

我nursery 和K2是British curriculum , K1 IB, 我感覺到有明顯的分別，主要是教學方式及expectation。我有朋友幼稚園和yr 1在Kingston(IB), yr 2轉到了kellet(BC), 也感覺到有分別。
我覺得兩様各有長短，我估不少local家長會比較接受BC, 因為較接近我們以前熟悉的學習模式。

Many thanks for sharing! Indeed would love to know more the difference between IB PYP and a more traditional structured programme like British. Some people say IB depends on whether u got good teachers ..but it’s difficult to teach. Is British curriculum play based , inspirational and encourage courisoity ? Just personally I feel that at early years its seems a more structured programme may make parents feel more comfortable in terms of learning output.
