I am sorry to tell you all that there is no graduation ceremony at all after completing K3.  I am very disappointed indeed !

u mean no K3 ceremony? but I heard that there are shows to be presented by K2 students

Yes, no gradulation ceremony at all.  No Christmas party nor any other events for Halloween, etc. throughout K1 - K3.  I am very surprised and disappointed.  No social activity at all and there is no chance for the parents to gather together.  VERY VERY BAD !

Yes, Kentville do have 畢業禮, but parent are not invited.  Kentville is actually quite low profile on social activity as parent are normally not invited to participated.  Some people may find disappointed on it, but parents like me would welcome as we need to work.  Some KG like St. Catherine will have lots of functions (as far as I know).  Anyway, the only thing I dislike is that the school report can only be given by July 4 as some parents will need it for applying school after the central allocation.  I know that St. Catherine do release the school report before June 4.

Yes, quite disappoint that they don't have 畢業禮. Actually, it is a BIG day for kid after spending 3 years on the school. Original, I do expect to have something but my kid re-confirmed with teacher that nothing is happen except B party.

Really, this will be a little bit disapionted with no graduation cermony in K3. But it is OK.
The other thing is no social activity. What kinds of social activities do u need? Actaully, I vey love this custom. No 親子旅行 or any projects to be needed help from parents like mid-aut festival, chinese new years, chirstmas, etc.... BUT they do train the children to finish the in school indepently. My girl also show her work to me at home. From the other side of the fact, u should think good if they train the chilldren to work like in primary. I think most of parents choose this kinder is that the children can be earlier to accept the primary life as well as the accedmic level. Don't blame it if u choose this school. Change school now or else.

同意!基本上根德園出左名係一間透明度非常低既學校,但唔代表佢唔好,只在于佢係咪你果杯茶!睇下你鐘意邊種kinder,大把kinder需要家長花好多時間去involve,如果好似我要返工咁就覺好煩!但我都感覺到佢地一路改緊,例如岩岩個環保手工比賽以前從未試過!從我個囡鐘意學校同老師既程度我可以知道呢間係一間好kinder!今年囡囡返晏晝我揍唔到佢返學,耐唔中都會打比老師傾,佢都不厭其煩咁答我架!出年係囡囡既最後一年,我都有d唔捨得呀!

Dear all parents!

I totally agreed for achan97. I choose this school it is because the training of the school. They train all the children to work independently. It is the same concern to a working mother as me. It is not necessary to worry about too much on their study but they can perform well.
I got those message in the bk topics. And also 根德園 is very famous in the KG area.
