I think there will be but not many. Cky has equally high requirements for both Chinese n eng n this will be tested in two rounds of interviews. Third round us parent n child individual casual chat. Without Chinese 外補, I guess ESF kids cannot cope with that. N if the ESF style is too free, kids may not be used to 坐定定 n maybe disadvantaged in the interview. Even cky seems less traditional, it is still local-oriented. I guess u also need to justify why you switch the path halfway...

謝謝！我心中最想係讀IB, 除咗CKY, 有冇其他較易選擇? 女兒現有St Cat PN 和 ESF K1 offer, 自己都好鐘意St Cat, (可能）discipline 會較好，但擔心讀完St Cat 無IB School offer.

Cky takes students mainly from traditional 唂kingdergartens like ST CAT, LH, KV. If you target cky, esf wont help you. Its not an IB school but only has IB diploma program.

Not many hk schools offer IB all the way except VSA or those intl schools becoz of cost. Some schools like Logos, St. Paul co Ed, Creative offer DSE or IB in the last two years. Not sure how keen you are for IB... But if u choose ESF now, you have choosen a narrower path vs St Cat and you may have to sacrifice chinese.
