I was cheated by the GYM in TST!!

Hi everyone!!

I just wanna share my bad experience from The Little Gym. When the man sell the programme, he said the programme is very flexible and i can book the make up class during weekend to fit my schedule.

But after i enroll, i can't even book one class on Sat. They always told me the class is full even i keep trying.   :evil:

And the most angry part is i found out they always save the spot for new people and put the old member as the last priority     

If you have any bad experience from this gym, please share it here!!

It's name is The Little Gym locates in TST..
It's a really bad gym. I will join the gym in Central from now on..

除了the little gym book makeup class的情況令妳不滿外，課程形式及內容是怎樣？滿意嗎？你可以向little gym投訴你的不滿，看看有沒有改善。因為除非妳住HK，否則中環的gym也很遠，你是指my gym或 gymboree吧！

Agreed, I will not enrolled after this term.  In my opinion they are not professional. Their only selling point is 'English in class'.

我個仔參加逢星期五（５－６)歲班，已參加了第二期感覺是D導師帶他走來走去,做一D簡單動作(如拋豆袋),但個仔就好happy,因為走來走去。
我未參加過其他所以冇得比較。

如果５－６歲班只是D導師帶他走來走去,做一D簡單動作(如拋豆袋),那的確太簡單了。你的小朋友己上了大半年了罷！我年初試堂後沒有報名，因為覺得3歲己經沒有家長陪同有些不放心，而且Ｄ小朋友走來走去很危險，況且一報幾個月一個學期很貴，所以沒有報名。我囡囡在中環上堂，內容和形式我也滿意，由2歲半班開始便已有一連串的體操動作玩，有時她也是自己走來走去，但有家長陪同至３歲半始終安心些，只是地點對我們來說較遠。

總括而論，我覺得little gym的行政同課程內容，都需要改善，否則家長只會讀完一期就ｂｙｅｂｙｅ！！

You are right!! I won't join the them anymore.

And i will join The Gym in Central with some of my kid's schoolmates as well.

can you tell me the name of the one in central:  gymboree or kingeroo?  or another one?  which one better?

Personally, I feel that this is a very very commercial "bad" managed gym. Their teachers are totally not professional. Ms Cand Mr W are the owners, but they conduct the classes by themselves. U can tell they don't want to spend money to hire  professional teachers.  All the equipments there are not properly used by kids under the instrucitions by well trained , professional teahcers. Kids just run around. After u have finished 2 or 3 lessons, u'll find that every lessons are the same, no fun, waste money....
Most important, they pay 100%"respect" to new comers , but not old members, as their pockets are full money. All old members are "lu lu" in their eyes.
Sorry for so many personal opinions as I am very very unsatisfied with this gym.
Other choices: The Gymboree, YMCA gym, anfield, tutor time, kiddicraft, ........

Cos I don't want other parents, at least parents of baby-kingdom, be cheated by this kind of bad, commercial company again.

Thank you for your comments.  Having read your advice, I think I'll stay with the present gym.  Even if my daughter can't get a place with her gym in the next term, I won't change to the little gym.

Most important, they pay 100%"respect" to new comers , but not old members, as their pockets are full money.

One thing I don't quite agree to the above comment is that, when we had the trial lesson, we new comers were treated 2nd class as the teacher/owner stopped us from taking photos as only members could take pictures.  Therefore while many parents were shooting videos of their children, we were told not to take pictures.  My husband had to go out and take video from outside.  So members do have some privileges over non-members.

I just want to find out more as I had paid the next term already.     I just afraid we will be treated badly when we go few more time.  But, for me, the general feeling is Okay.  As my girl join the 2 years old class and she did enjoy playing there and running around.  I just teach her that she can hop around or climb up the stair  only in little gym but not in our house as it will be very dangerous.

The instructor, Bing is okay, but the assistance is not very good at all.  I think they have to improve this.

My last comment is that when we went there last Sat.  It is very crowded, there was more than 15 kids inside the gym, I don't think it is safe at all.  Anyway, I already paid, so let see how things go...

About this feeling" treat new comers better", my point is that they won't limit their class size. The first time I joined they told me my class has 12 kids, but after 2 or 3 lessons, there is almost 36 people (including parents)in the gym. Those are new comers(really paid) and some are for trial class. If u ask for a trial class, they still have their way to treat u badly.
My main concern is their teachers are totally not professional gym coach. I can't imagine if accidents really happen on our kids...
In conclusion, the most impressed thing they give me is" paid paid paid, money money,......."

What u said is really the way they treat their customers. They use the "money line" to classify their customers, potential customers, old members...
