有冇用家可以分享下，St Cat 同 Victoria 受追捧嘅原因? 本人係普通中產家庭，可以用簡單英語同小朋友日常溝通，國語都無問題，小朋友讀呢類型幼稚園會否好吃力? 多謝咁多位媽媽分享 !

兩間都係happy school 小朋友唔會吃力
吃力的是家長因爲學費貴（維記）
St cat 平d 但預左要外補加埋條數都係差不多

Are you sure? How about the students?

Every year 25+ sc students go to DG
30+ to DB
70+ to tky

Both VIC and st cat total students are similar....
But when u check VIC allocation u will know what I'm talking

其實vic不夠其他學校多因他有自己小學同中學。我身邊的，入vic都想一條龍就算，讀到咁上下去外國留學，因他ib學校中叫平民價，有幾多ib可以7000幾讀到？所以幼稚園大部分人是上vic小學。得好少人去考dbs同dgs，自然總數少。st cat的人無得直上，當然要報其他。

當你見到vic的k1學生英文，普通話流利時，就會明白報得的，都是target世界，不是玩local。不是要像根徳園操練那type，是要小朋友語文好，不是學術型。但當然都有家長是local，就要外補，如不外補，難dgs的，因dbs.dgs考好多生字，要學術型的小孩。

I think if you know the DG interview you won't think they assess one's capability of recognising the words. Indeed they require a student to think critically, logical , good observation and analytical power.

Yea I agree that Victoria has good language back up . The school creates a pressure free environment for the kids .
Most of the parents have their own power to put them in very famous school by fame , money , etc.....

May I ask if dg tests the students' analytical power, critical thinking, etc, then why do students from st cat stand a better chance than victotia's students? I thought victoria kindergartens put emphasis on nurturing the kids' thinking skills and 'learning to learn', so their kids should know how to think critically?

Just wanna clarify why there seems to be a larger proportion of st cat's students than victoria students entering dgdb, etc. Thanks in advance!

When you think there are more st cat students entering those top tier school I may also reassure that a portion of st cat students will admit to CCKG at k2. So when you add on those who shift to CCKG and st cat k3 graduates you will be amazed !

Well there maybe a couples of reasons.
No one knows . All are just guests.

St cat choose the students more .....while some may choose parents more ....you know so the actually ability of students differs.....

Another possible chance is .....st cat parents are usually 中產 and they will like to train up their kids while some school parents are actually billionaire ....doesn't care it so much ....maybe .......

Or one guess is .....as some have said earlie r......their scope is more international .....no one knows

k2 vic d人考英基，不是cckg。我之前問過vic的老師，其實k2大部分已轉左國際學校，因國際學校是k2就考入，不像local要讀埋k3

vic的人應該同st cat是兩類家長來。所以其實無得compare，因根本無咩人會報cckg。

另外入到DB, DG既, 又有幾多係舊生/有CONNECTION.......

我只係想講, 好難用有幾多學生入咩學校去conclude everything, it's only a part of the picture

對，所以其實好多因素影響。

反而選學校應該選您小朋友需要的，你又想他發展的。睇學校是否給到你。例如您想小朋友入左間學校後學到咩。

派位只是參考，但不應就咁睇人派咩去決定讀邊間。話不定定有d小朋友考dbs實收，只是家長無報。又說不定有d世襲，所以好差都收呢

路過，謝謝大家分享，本身小朋友有上Victoria pg，佢好鍾意，現在等PN 收生結果。都明白不同學校各有優點，所以幫小朋友揀學校真係好傷腦筋～

Actually Victoria student will keep transfer to different international school before graduated, e.g, ESF,SIS,ISF.

I agree that st cat interview chose student based on ability while vic chose student based on bg and its pg connection

Based on this Then u would know which school u prefer

yea, I admit that its a general picture only. Of course not everyone is the same.
When you say everyone in DB is good, you actually means most of them ( or a large proportion of them) are good.

好表面既觀察：

Sc:
學校係戰鬥格，揀既學生要好外向，表達能力高，有部分家長自己勁谷，學生背景多元化。

維記：
學校揀家長背景，語景一流，一半家長target入國際學校，唔會谷小朋友。另一半係target半地，但都唔多谷。學校當然唔谷。可能連小一面試班都唔上。有一半畢業生去左vsa

所以就咁睇sc多人入名校係無咩意思，因為唔係full picture，你話佢每年有幾多幾多人入dg, dbs, 但佢無公佈全校學生去向。叻個班當然好勁，無offer亦為數不少。
兩間學校只有少部份係重疊市場，大部份係唔同背景同取態既家長
