We did not get an interview for the first round... just wanna see if some parents will release the offer and whether the queue is moving forward...

don't expect too much if you don't even have an interview.those who have been received a call from school for a year 1 place last week are usually with certain priority; and they have as well attended an interview in Jan.

then...the chance of getting a year 1 place at SJS is very slim.
i think you should look for a back up plan.
