有機會面試已經好好有否想過連面試機會的家長心情呢？
我女報了Sjs and RC。兩間都無機會面試
RC staff 到校觀察學生我女是老師推薦一位
RC staff 更對老師說我女是top of the list （當中包括有得面試的學生）
到現在我心有不甘但可以怎樣
尊重結果也為我女當天表現感到自豪

想分享好耐，但一直諗唔到用戶名。。。終於比我諗番起。

啊囡唔係讀緊ESF Kindy，冇買NR，好幸運抽中而亦有RC Offer。

我既方法是：
- 用英文同佢溝通，睇英文電視節目。令佢對英文得心應手。
- 每晚讀英文故事書／雜誌，咩都讀。
- 逢假期比佢上ESF開辦（但係RC上堂）既Sports Camp／Language Camp，等佢熟悉環境。

大概係咁。

My daughter also does not hv any priority, and she is studying in local private kinder.
We exactly prepare my girl in a same way like what you did, and she got offer of RC.

These are the things that many parents would do. If this is the case, RC is being so unfair to the candidates from esf kindie and to people who have higher priority..

Why the international school is called international school? It's a bit disappointed to see the mindset of some of the parents who applied international schools for the kids is not collaborate with what the true culture and learning objectives international school provided.

Then why don't esf become zero selective and deal with candidates in a first come first served basis?

Well, we outsiders do not have a guaranteed chance for interview. RC is a private independent school so they have more say to which type of students they would like to take. I didn't even bother to apply for SJS because I know we stand no chance.
Fair or not, depends on how you see it. My child has the least priority but she still manage to get in. For me, that means the school sees her potential and it wouldn't be "fair" if she didn't get in because she has no priority. Not trying to put up a fight but that's how I see it.

We had our moments waiting for the interview invitation and the result. I think ESF kindy students already have the advantage over us because they get a chance to be interviewed with their peer, while we could only do our best and test our luck.
