Well, we outsiders do not have a guaranteed chance for interview. RC is a private independent school so they have more say to which type of students they would like to take. I didn't even bother to apply for SJS because I know we stand no chance.
Fair or not, depends on how you see it. My child has the least priority but she still manage to get in. For me, that means the school sees her potential and it wouldn't be "fair" if she didn't get in because she has no priority. Not trying to put up a fight but that's how I see it.
We had our moments waiting for the interview invitation and the result. I think ESF kindy students already have the advantage over us because they get a chance to be interviewed with their peer, while we could only do our best and test our luck.
