Just one question. You are not worried that your kid not accept to ESF primary? Any backup plan?

Agree, even 早幾年出生率高，又冇咁多國際學校，競爭大過現在，都有不少小朋友未識講，但明白英文指令，都有offer. 各位有2nd in 的，也很大機會。家長們要想想怎様表現給老師睇，小朋友係明白英文的

Coz even stay in Victoria, cannot guarantee to go international primary as well, the chance of getting in VSA is even lower

I think just apply some more international primary school at K2

Past years yes. But the number is not reliable anymore because there are much more k2 ESF kinder kids this year from the new campus. The admission rate will definitely be lower for TY. They interview all kinder kids so what's crucial is to get a good random number. You have high chance if you can get an interview for offer. The school actually told us how many kids have failed the interview when we were there for interview and the number is not high. One thing tho, I don't think outsider has a chance this year at all since they only interview kids with priority.

One thing is that I tried to look for the annual report of Tsing yi but I couldn't find it. I found only hillside annual report. Is it that they trying to hide their low successful rate to their ESF primary school? Just my wild guess. Any way that we can a good random number? Or we can only sit back and pray for luck?

The principal said last year 99% graduate got offer from ESF primary ( I think including RC and DC)

If you really worry a lot, the highest chance is to apply for HK side ESF primaries... but I think >90% chance is really not bad already

Indeed I got kiangsu(local stream) on hand too I m still comparing 2 offers. Which school has better result? Which one is more suitable for my kids personality? The money spent will worth it? What are the options for later years? 2 totally different pathways ahead. Really worried making a bad choice for my kid yet she is not old enough to make her own decision.

Bad choice? I think no particular path would be bad .... We parents just make a better and suitable choice...

Strange that the annual reports cannot be found anymore, I had it downloaded, success rate was 96% as said in the annual report 2015-2016.
This year I guess the rate will drop because of TC.

May I know where will those '6' with no offer go? They actually joined the other IS or simply 'no offer'? Thanks!

The percentage to ESF primary is actually quite high as shown
Just want to know where did the other 6 go
Maybe their choice to go to other international school?

Same here, need to choose between Victoria and esf... really very difficult...

We definitely go for IB stream, and target esf primary, but prefer my kid to learn more and to be more familiar with Chinese writing and mandarin speaking before going to primary IS...

From EK, even with sibling priority, it's not guaranteed to get a seat in esf primary.

Also anyone knows will it lower the chance to get in esf primary, if we reject them for the kinder seat? Will they have record?
