same as my son, he is slow talking as well, he also get a reject offer, so sad!

all got interviews but how many percentage of them got offer from ESF at the end? over 90%? I couldn't find the numbers on their annual report actually.

You need to write an email requesting the change asap, as it is processed in first come first served order. Also, if you can think of a strong reason with supportings, you will rank higher in the order. Sleep schedule, convenience in picking up etc are not strong reasons.

Last year, i can't think of any strong reason, but i submitted the request immediately and still got the transfer approval from pm to am in November.

These are all in the annual report of the respective kindergartens. Some give breakdowns like wks while some only gave percentages.

My daughter is studying at Victoria PN , she enjoys going to school a lot, that's why we are a bit reluctant to change.
Pm class is another concern as she need to take 2 hours afternoon nap currently
But after considering the pathway to primary and secondary , I think we are very likely to take the offer

This year, every esf kinder students got interview chance for esf foundation schools, even for sjs, as wks only has 6 k2 classes this year. Among those i know, about 1/4 are on reserved list.

In my year (2015 K1), even after school started, at least 4-5 students left in the first few months. So many in waiting list still have chances.

We have the same situation, need to choose between Victoria and ESF now.

Frankly, depends on where is your catchment area.If in Kowloon side or NT side, highly recommend you to take ESF kindy.It is hardly to join Y1 esf primary school (KJS/ BHS/ SJS) for non-Esf kindy students (with no other priority like sibling / alumni). For HK side, is a bit less competitive.  Of course NR always is an option.

其實講到單字都0k，例如story reading 時家長要引導性地問下 what is this? 家長可以選擇小朋友識＆有興趣的書，animal, transportation, food .... 玩playdoh 時佢地會觀察小朋友嘅fine motor skill, 家長可以幫手玩下pretended game, 整pizza ice-cream cookie扮下食野 俾d簡單指令， 老师會睇下小朋友有無反應，玩drawing 時，我最愛畫個女嘅手印，叫個女油顔色，如小朋友已分到顔色不願講，家長可以叫小朋友攞咩顏色嘅顔色筆，等老師知道小朋友聽得明指令。家長主導盡量發揮！Good Luck!

是，如果你想入ESF primary，你不選ESF kindy差不多是沒有機會，今年很多人給了$2000 application fee連interview 機會也沒有，所以應該很少人會不take offer!

通常吾take offer的，都是那些在local school and IS 之間未决定到，或本身有間龍校不捨得放棄，否則如果以ESF primary 為target, 除非有sibling priority, 否則 最好take offer, 就算下午班都不要放棄。

Not official number, But just based on information from other parents (there are over 100 parents in several whatsapp group). Some say 1/3, some say 1/4. Guess it is about this range.

Actually already decided to go international path
And also we are in Kowloon catchment area with no priority, guess it would be really difficult to join ESF primary if not take the kinder offer
So ... we are very likely to take the offer
Anyone also decided ?
