暫時只知25/6及27/8會開家長會,13/7及14/7買書及校服,書是否和去年一樣便不清楚.

There are 2 dates for Parents Day (one in June and one in August).  Is the school advising parents different topics in these 2 dates?

25/6是了解學校日常運作,27/8是介紹有關老師,另外13/7會報名參加學校的暑期班,全都在暑期的上午進行,你叩門成功的機會大不大,good luck!

我都買哂校服啦, 條校呔有d"披"口, 所以報暑期班的時候, 順便換.

25/6的家長會係比第二輪派位入倒的家長聽, 我地第一輪入左的家長巳經在上年11月時開左, 8月尾的家長會就會見哂所有家長.

想問吓如果一次過買晒校服, 書薄, 文具等等.  大約要帶幾多錢, 收唔收支票?  D書薄多唔多, 重唔重?

書 accept cheque; last year arround $18xx
校服, 薄, 文具 not accept cheque.
If you buy all in the same day, it will be very heavy. May be you ask you husband or maid to assist. Also that day will be full of parents & maids and take you quite a long time.

Yes, if you buy uniform from school the quality is definitelt bad, you better 在外自己買衫,just buy 校章,自己車仲好.

La Salle is my 1st choice of both 1st & 2nd rounds.  We are Catholic which get 20 points in 1st round.  I know the status of many people are similar.  We have send profile to headmistress and also the supervisor of the school.

Read your discussion re LS uniform and things.

I heard from my friend that LS's supervisor (Brother Patrick ?) is out of HK on leave - likely to avoid harassment from eager parents-to-be.
She says those who can knock the door (3rd round) will be those with good relationship with brothers / fathers / sisters who in turn are well-known and on very good terms with the Headmistress / Brother.  Otherwise no chance.

My friend buys her son's LS uniform from Kln City, Lion Rock Road - cheaper and better quality.
