Recommended for candidates over the age of 16. In other word, to take the IELTS test a candidate must be 16 years old or over.

Even though it says it's recommended that students over 16 years old to take it, some people take it at 14 or 15.

我仔係BRITISH COUNCIL考2次都未夠16, 要家長另外簽署. 你試下直接上IDP報, 我朋友既仔IDP報, 好似唔使家長簽, 佢仔好似未夠16. 不過IDP考完要自己上IDP OFFICE拿成績, BRITISH COUNCIL會寄掛號比你.

考就一定可以考，　不過佢就要做多重功夫，　我記得係要我寫左封信講明理由（讀書）需要考，　簽署ｅｍａｉｌ比佢就ＯＫ。

overall 6分就好容易, ALL 6好難講, 我仔第一次就敢去考, OVERALL 6.5, 但寫作5.5 要再考.
