請問海外升學要準備考什麼英文試？
聽說有 SAT，TOFEL，有什麼分別？

你去那個國家呀, 不同國家有不同英文考試要求喎.

If you’re applying to an undergraduate program, you will probably have to submit scores for both the TOEFL and the SAT (or ACT). In some ways, this system is redundant: as I mentioned in my post on standardized test writing sections, there’s practically no difference when you compare the independent task on the TOEFL vs. SAT essay. Nevertheless, most programs require international students to report their scores on both.

SAT(or ACT), TOEFL都係美國主要要求既考試以報讀美國大學為例:
單講考試, 唔講其他, 要考以下:
SAT/ACT兩個一定要考一個, 傳說SAT 2200/2400 or above先基本上係會被Ivy League/其他Top大學考慮(留意係入場券only, 有唔代表D咩, 無得黎其他方面唔突出, 或者所謂unhooked, 就好難入US Top 20)

考完SAT之後仲有SAT Subject Test
例如SAT Physics, SAT Maths II, SAT English Literature等等
一般大學需要至少3科subject test

另外TOEFL同IELTS性質係一樣
TOEFL, 所謂Test of English as a foreign language, 只有非英語為母語學生先要考
所以如果係讀國際學校/SAT test係Critical Reading拎到一定分數的話, 大部分學校都願意waive TOEFL

另外仲有AP
Advanced Placement, 讀既考既係大學入門級既課程, 可以考可以唔考, 不過考左有助提升係學業成績方面既競爭力

我仔用DSE 成績報英國UCAS 就只報考IELTS！但有些科目有其他要求,例如medicine, 需要上學校website 看清楚！
