已accept 大學offer, 正準備提交申請study permit, 想請教之後程序/安排。現階段等批permit 和dse成績時，有什麼現在須準備呢?謝謝!

暫時無野做，只等待加拿大領事館電郵通知study permit的approval. 大約五至六星期會有消息通知。

While waiting for visa:
(1) Double check how the university want the DSE results to be sent to them. Double check what other supporting documents they want.
(2) See when you need to pay tuition deposit.
(3) Check when he can start choosing his classes.
(4) Arrange for boarding or find a place to live.
(5) Check online where the closest bank is. He will need to open a bank account there to pay fees. It is common for students to pay tuition fees, phone bills, etc with his bank account. He can also buy things with his own debit card (similar to EPS). Many universities have bank ATM machines on campus. Using the ATM machine of the same bank would avoid extra fees to be charged. You can also make direct transfer of money to his account in the future.
(6) Are you going with him to Canada? If your child is not 18 years old yet, it is best if you seek the university advice if they need you to sign any consent papers. Also, banks and some mobile phone service providers might request an adult to co-sign for phone service plans. Better check.
(7) Frequently check emails. University would start to ask whether students are taking part in O-Camp. Strongly suggest he goes, even if they charge you extra (some universities charge students for attending O-Camp, but probably not expensive, may be around $100 cad). University might also have discount plans for new notebook computers, phone plans etc. Best thing is go to university web site and browse the section for "new students".
(8) If you are sure he is definitely going, you can even book the flight. Book "student tickets" with CX. He can take 3 luggages on the plane.

(1) we will.
(2) paid already. When will the university offer the formal admission? After DSE result? And when to pay the tutition and other fees?
(3) how?
(4) we have already applied for the campus. As a related issue, will my son need homestay at the custodian accomodation during the campus closed in term break/holidays?
(5) thanks. Any recommendation in UBC (Vancouver Campus)?
(6) Not going with him. He is under 18 and I have approached a custodian agent in Canada and will use the custodian service. I suppose I will make parents' declaration (consent letter?) in submitting my application for study permit. Don't know if any other consent letter from the university is needed?
(7) yes, we will if available. Will the O-camp start in August?
(8) We plan to do so. Is it necessary to check with the university when the semester starts and shall we go boarding the campus early?

All conditions are listed. When you get your DSE result, you know whether you meet the conditions and then your offer will be valid. For example, they may say they require a "4 with math" for example. Each university has a different timeline for paying fees, etc/ Did you create some kind of login account with the university? You need to check the website.(3) how? Check the university website. It may be inside the login account.

Usually it is only closed during extended holidays like Christmas. Either you can arrange for him to come back to Hong Kong. Or you can ask him to use the money to find accommodation locally.
