Yes.

Not sure about Jupas, but non-jupas students should have been able to get offers by now.
Other countries (UK, US, Canada) also have issued offers to overseas applicants. The earliest I heard was offers from some universities would be dispatched in January.

It is already May. If you have chosen the universities that match with your grades, you should be able to get a few offers by now.


PS. Only US is generous enough to give unconditional offers.

當年有兩個CO，科大一月，英國好似二三月。

Conditional offers from UK can come out as early as October in the year before the exam.

PS: UCAS application opens in mid September.

舊年朋友既仔話英國CO通常要求唔高，基本上DSE唔失手都OK，唔知係唔係大部分英國大學都係咁？

I am not sure which universities you refer to .....

For my son's case, HKUST and Warwick offered the same score. I can say they are comparable.

If for lower tiers UK universities, the CO can be lower than the HK Big 3 offers.

我外甥女, 侄女, 舊年申請英國大學, 佢地讀IB, 不是DSE, 外甥女 IB predicted grade只有40, 幾間英國大學的conditional offers, 包括Warwick, Bath, King's College....還有的不記得是那些了, 最高分的要求也只是36分, 結果全部達標.  這些都是比較好的英國大學, 次一等的, 肯定要求更低.

今年 warwick law 嘅 CO 係要求 3科 electives 3 條 5，唔知咁算唔算有空間去失手。四科主科冇任何要求。
申請英國好簡單，美國就好花時間、好多準備功夫，代價係英國係 CO，美國就係 UCO

Study in UK, only English is useful (May still need IELTS), other cores are just for reference, 3 electives is the major consideration.

Many universities would rather look at internal grades than public exam results.
So the higher the internal grades (or predicted grades), the lower the conditions.
So I always tell my kids to get the most they can with school grades. In fact, it is easier to get good school grades.
It is rather hard to say what you get at public exam.

Very normal offers.
Like I said, the higher the PG, the lower the conditions.
If they have 42, may be condition is 35.

I would think it fair for universities not to impose too harsh a condition.
I do think internal grade can reflect more the actual ability of students.
So it is fair for universities to give students that have high PG offers with much lower conditions.
That is also the reason why US universities are generous to give unconditional offers.

咁當然要睇 ielts 分數~ 之所以連 dse 英文都唔使理會。

我仔收到UCAS嘅 CO全都是要求3科electives 考5, 只有UCL 有要求中文及通識考3，除非失手，否則達標不太難！

講真，electives 3條5 話難唔難，說易也真的是未必易，唔可以拉上補下，即是一科都不能失，這就是壓力。女兒說如果 electives 攞 3條5，都應該夠分入 kongu law，除非真的敗在中文吧
